Customer Care Representative

Represents a positive image of Modern Postcard. Under general supervision and with regular review is responsible for investigating and responding to customer/prospective customer inquiries related to product, service, production procedures, digital specifications and/or account status.

Responsibilities
  • Responds to all customer and prospective customer phone and email inquiries including providing technical support, education of production procedures and communicating shipment status via designated carriers.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves all customer issues including production related matters.
  • Promotes the addition of value added services to enhance the client experience.
  • Tracks and communicates customer feedback and information surrounding all aspects of Modern Postcard’s operations and/or customer communication methods.
  • Responsible for achieving all Customer Care Representative goals which include Quality Assurance Scores, Call metrics and availability.
  • Assists in new hire mentoring related to call handling, customer care philosophies and production flow.
  • Updates and documents customer contact information as needed.
  • Provides support to other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required.
Education and Requirements
  • AA degree or equivalent with up to 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Outlook in both PC & MAC platforms.
  • Excellent customer service skills including conflict resolution.
  • Composed and enthusiastic phone voice with good articulation.
  • Ability to accurately type 35 WPM and/or proficiency in keyboarding.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to calculate pricing figures of moderate complexity.
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems involving variables of moderate complexity.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of file transferring protocols, layout/image applications and compression programs a plus.
