Direct mail goes social
When taking a look at customers’ direct mail pieces, a new trend that we’ve noticed for 2010 is an increase in promoting social media. Prominent placement of Facebook and Twitter logos or URLs is becoming more common as our customers discover the effectiveness of including this information in their mailers. Cross-channel promotion is nothing new, and as more and more businesses look to social media to increase their reach with customers and prospects, it’s only natural to include that information in their direct mail.
