Who’s the CEO of your household?

When targeting consumers, put yourself in what the USPS calls “The Mail Moment” when a member of the prospective household you’re targeting picks up the mail. Who is it, typically?

At my house, and I know I’m not alone on this, it’s my wife. She watches that mailbox like a hawk, knows the exact time mail arrives every day and is all over it like a lioness pouncing on her prey. From a mail perspective (and probably more), she is the undisputed CEO of our household. She gets first crack at what stays and what gets recycled.

Does this scenario sound familiar and does it represent your next potential customer?
