The Print Event 2019 Conference Recap

That’s a wrap on the first-ever Print Event! A marketing forum for practitioners, agencies and providers, this two-day conference in Minneapolis provided networking and learning opportunities on all-things CMYK.

The overwhelming sentiment among attendees was that the fatigue and flatline of digital marketing has become a major challenge. Studies prove that customers now actively tune out online advertising. Then, add to the mix General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ad blocker popularity, stricter privacy filters – and a brand’s ability to reach and activate customers online is becoming much more difficult.  

That’s where print has emerged – or more appropriately reemerged – as a powerful channel to engage customers. And from the conference preamble to the closing remarks, industry experts presented strategies to capitalize on print as a profit-driving marketing channel.
